Unexpectedly last Thursday (the 16th) I got my passport back with my visa. God amazed me! My visa process went well and fast. Praise God! Thanks for all your persistence prayers before the Holy Throne! You are mighty warriors!
Yesterday Sunday, I had the privilege to share my testimony in Little Brown Church in Bigfork. After I went to Swan Lake Chapel where I shared the Word of God. It was a great and busy Sunday! I am glad for those opportunities to be able to share the love and the wonders of God.
For the coming SBS in South Africa, the Lord is sawing me His faithfulness, I am seeing financial break through. How Awesome and Great God we serve!!! When, We walk in obedience to His will, there is nothing He can not accomplish or any door He can not open before us. Proverbs: 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. If the Lord is able to use my enemies to work for my good how wonderful and great it is to see God using my friends, my brothers and sisters Christ to support and provide for my financial needs in this season of training! Thank you so much to each of you for sacrificial finances supports, for your encouragement.
Blessings!

Upcoming project
In continuation of my season of training I am planning to go in South Africa to do my School of Biblical Studies (SBS) with Ywam Ywam Muizenberg. I am excited to go on this base where I did my School of Church Planting in 2007-2008.
SBS is a nine-month course focusing on all 66 books of the Bible. I will be taught to use inductive approach to study, observe what the text says, interpret it in the light of the original reader and apply the timeless truths to my own lives. I have great expectations from this school: Get to know more and more God, build a strong intimacy with Christ through His word. Desire to be equipped to able to teach and disciple others.
How you can get involved
* Great need of prayer support.
1. If you can pray for my visa process here in the US.
2. Pray for guidance, wisdom, understanding and a heart disposed to learn.
3. If you can pray for financial providence. I still need around $3000 to able to pay my school and complete my flight cost (USA - South Africa; South Africa - Burkina).
* Financial support
* As you pray for me if God put in our heart the desire to be part of this journey with me please contact me in this e-mail address: shalomrabo@gmail.com
* You can make a check in my name Gerard RABO and send it to Fathead Bank Lakeside 7265 Highway 93 PO Box 769 Lakeside, MT 59922 My account number: 200-314-331

Kiswendsida News
Dear Beloved,
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be your portion! I am delighted to have this opportunity to share with you my news. I hope you are doing well, my prayer is that God mercy be upon you day after day.
A look back: 2009
2009 was a year of many blessings from the Lord in my walk with Him. As you know, since last April, the Lord has opened a training door for me at Ywam Montana. I did a Foundation of Community Development School from April to August and a School of Worship from September to December.
Since my arrival here the Lord has never ceased to equip me better and better for the ministry. Discovering God's heart for the community and seeing how the word of God is the source of any development in a community and nation was a big revelation for me. The word of God is not only a source of spiritual self-fulfillment but takes into account the four dimensions of life: Spiritual – Wisdom - Social - Physical
From July to August I had the opportunity to go to Guatemala on outreach. It was a very rich experience and I had the opportunity to teach God’s Word, and to share in the daily life experiences with the community, by serving in various ways. We were able to organize a series of teachings for the staff of Ywam San Miguel as well.
In September I did the School of Worship which was also a time of refreshment and spiritual intimacy with God. During this time the Lord has confirmed a lot of things in my life over my ministry, what he expects from me once I am back in my country.
The Lord has literally challenged my way of thinking and how I see things. As Africans we sometimes do not think that transformation; a change in our communities or our nation is possible. However, with God everything is possible if we allow Him to renew our understanding (our worldview) and then walk according to the principles of the Word of God. It is with a positive outlook, a new vision and a hope in the Lord that I see the future for Africa, for my nation, and for my community.
My plans – 2010
My return home was originally set for March 16th, and yet,
I felt that my training season was not complete and the Lord has lead me to extend my stay to staff the next school of Foundation of Community Development (FCD) in April. I believe this time will be a very useful in allowing me to receive even more, and as staff, to see things differently than when I was student. To be able to learn alongside my school leader is an opportunity for me to acquire more knowledge, and to have more understanding of the biblical principles of transformation in a society.
My Goal is to receive more so I can be able to teach the Body of Christ… maybe even pioneering this school back in my country. There is a great need and I want to take any and every opportunity to be well trained resulting in being more effective back home.
I shared with my FCD leaders who support me in this step of faith and rejoice to see me part of the school staff.
Making these steps in the direction that the Lord showed me put before me a big challenge.
To stay in April I will need a new visa and a new return ticket. YWAM Montana accepted me to be part of FCD staff but asked me to have $ 1500 as a guarantee for my return ticket before March 8.
I am seeing God's hand at work, my new visa cost me $ 300, the Lord has provided and the visa process is already running.
The Lord has provided around $ 1000 and, as of now, I only need $500 to cover my ticket guarantee by March 8th. I am currently in search of some friends to sponsor me $50, (a one time gift of $50). If 10 people would be willing to support me and be part this God story, the $500 will be covered.
I feel like to share with you my need and ask for your prayers and financial support.
So I would ask you to consider this in prayer and see if you can partner with me $50 or what God put in our heart to give before March 8th. Your generosity will allow me to continue my training.
Please make checks out to “YWAM” and mail to below address with “Rabo” in the memo line”
or you can make a deposit into my account on Flathead Bank Lakeside. Account number:200314331
Thank you and God bless!
